GKVK (Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra) located near Sahakaranagar Bangalore has hundreds of acres reserved for mangoes. Various hybrid and other local varieties are researched and new varieties are created.  The vast mangoe grove during season is a sight to see, that too in the heart of Bangalore.  You can enter the campus and buy organic mangoes of any variety from the contractor.  The contractor normally puts up a stall on the campus.  You can also go and pluck the mangoes from the tree and then buy it.  The rates are same as market but it is fresh and organic.  From Sahakaranagar / Vidyaranyapura/Yelahanka satellite town , you can access the mango sale area.
